Under the name "Architecture in ceramics" were held two lectures and one exhibition of new products by 7 Tile of Spain members

Tile of Spain/ASCER celebrated with the help of IVACE, as part of the international promotional plan, a seminar and exhibition in Zurich (Switzerland) on ceramics and architecture aimed at decision makers of the industry: architects, designers, distributors, etc. The activity attracted a great deal of interest in the professional Swiss audience, and gathered around 200 visitors.

The seminar, celebrated Thursday 16th in the afternoon, sought to introduce these local professionals to the ceramic offer present in the Valencian Region, by presenting the Tile of Spain products as sustainable, avant-garde and innovative. The program included lectures by two architecture studios: Studio.Noju, presenting the interior reform of an apartment in Torres Blancas by renowned architect Sáenz de Oíza; and OAB Arquitectes, with a long standing history in the use of Spanish Ceramics, winners of several editions of the Tile of Spain Awards. These talks were complemented by an exhibition area where 7 Tile of Spain member companies participated showcasing their products: Azteca, Cevica, Dune, Natucer, Rocersa, STN and Tempio. This activity had its own promotional landing webpage, where all the information about the products can be consulted.

The seminar was celebrated in collaboration within the Schweizer Baumuster Centrale (SBCZ) activity program for professionals in the fields of architecture, design and engineering. The SBZC, founded in 1935 following the initiative of the Swiss Architect Federation (BSA), is a knowledge and debate forum on materials for every player in the construction sector in Switzerland, and manages a permanent exhibition on materials pieces and samples.

The Swiss market stands out for their demand of high quality and design products. In 2023, it held the 34th position in the ranking for destinations of Spanish ceramic tiles, amounting to 19.4 M€ in sales.
