38 Spanish wall and floor ceramic tile manufacturers and members of ASCER (as well as 5 ancillary companies) will be participating in the CEVISAMA trade fair in Valencia, Spain, between 24th and 28th February. The event, which in 2024 welcomed over 70,000 visitors, is expected to attract a significant number of professional visitors and industry specifiers from all five continents during the week. The focus for this edition is ‘Made in Europe’, in line with the industry’s messages featured in its ‘Secret Ingredient’ campaign, and the respect for Spain’s ceramic tile industry.

In collaboration with Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), ASCER has developed a digital catalogue containing information about the Tile of Spain exhibitors, including contact details and photographs of the new products presented by each exhibitor.
The catalogue features a user-friendly company search option, either by pavilion or alphabetically, and can be accessed under the CEVISAMA section on the Tile of Spain website www.tileofspain.com, which also provides access to a resource bank with interviews, photographs of exhibitors’ stands, and the latest product innovations. Additionally, the participation of Tile of Spain companies at CEVISAMA, as well as with the various activities programmed during the event, can be followed on the Instagram profile @tileofspain.
Once again this year, ASCER, with the support of ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, is organising a visit to the trade fair for a group of over 100 media outlets and specifiers from 24 countries. The participants in this reverse mission will take part in a comprehensive programme that includes visits to exhibitors’ stands, as well as attendance at the international press conference and the presentation of the Tile of Spain Architecture and Interior Design Awards on Tuesday, 25th February. The Tile of Spain press conference will provide an insight into key industry updates regarding new data, promotion actions such as the ‘Secret Ingredient’ campaign, and design trends in ceramic tile surfaces for 2025.

In addition to this, the trade fair organisers have focused on offering high-value activities and, as a new feature, will present the ‘Hotel Cevisama’ installation, designed by Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez, which highlights the role of ceramic materials in the contract channel. This installation, spanning over 800 m², recreates a Mediterranean hotel establishment that merges sustainability, innovative design, and a human-centric approach. The project, developed by the Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez studio, involves the participation of over thirty leading companies in ceramic tiles, bathroom, construction, and habitat equipment sectors.
The parallel programme organised by CEVISAMA includes a full agenda of talks aimed at specifiers (Interior Design, Architecture and Contract Forum), given by prestigious architecture and design studios. There will also be space for tile installation demonstrations during the PROALSO installers’ meeting. This year, the trade fair will also be hosting the first-ever tile installation competition for students, with participants from Vocational Education and Training courses in Interior Works, Decoration, and Renovation from Almería, Guadalajara, Toledo, Lleida, Cáceres, La Rioja and Valencia.
