The edition of Cevisama 2024 was very special, as it marked the 40th anniversary of this international ceramic fair. In this event, which is the most important held in our country in the ceramic industry, a large number of companies under the Tile of Spain umbrella participated. Among the novelties and trends presented, we have been able to see that the Spanish ceramic sector has innovated and evolved to incorporate an infinite variety of pieces of different types, from tile and stoneware to the most technical of porcelains.
Below, we present some of the trends presented by the OTH (Observatorio de Tendencias del Hábitat) (Observatory of Habitat Trends) in the Tile of Spain press conference held in Cevisama:
Natural Line
In this unique edition of Cevisama, we have observed that architectural projects in addition to integrating, seek to mimic nature. Therefore, ceramic products that are inspired by Mother Nature stand out, transmitting the essence of the material with porous and uneven textures that show the inherent beauty of the raw materials. The aim of this trend is to create a visual and harmonious partnership with the surrounding landscape.

Minimal Line
We have also seen the minimalist style evolve into soothing, enveloping and comforting design. Ceramic products focus on neutral, soothing, timeless finishes with a sensory touch. Architectural projects explore beauty through the shapes and materials used, creating works that seek harmony in their environment.

Cultural Line
Another trend we have seen in ceramic products is the recovery of culture and the transition of past designs into a simpler, more urban context. Interior design fuses elements from different eras creating environments that offer a journey through time. The idea is to bring together the richness of cultural heritage with ethnic trends and modernity.

LuxVersal Line
Polished, high-gloss and metallic-looking ceramic products help to create sophisticated spaces, sometimes offering a sense of futuristic ambience. We have seen that, nowadays, special attention is paid to texture as a key factor in the marble and stone trend. In luxury interior design projects, exquisiteness is elevated through meticulous customization, using natural-looking materials and combining styles and eras.
