ASCER, the Spanish Association of Ceramic Tile Manufacturers, in collaboration with the Observatorio de Tendencias del Hábitat (Observatory of Habitat Trends), and with the support of the Ministry of Finance of the Generalitat Valenciana, has held a workshop to present and work on trends in ceramic surfaces.

One of the main interests of the new trends is the motivation and social concern for the protection of the environment. The coming trends in ceramic surfaces reflect a deep desire for solutions that integrate knowledge of nature. Emphasizing the importance of rest and rejuvenation through the development of products that appeal to all generations and to a diversity of capabilities, with earthy and elemental textures, ancient symbols and futuristic talismans.

Also gaining traction is so-called “smart simplicity,” which supports interactive processes and incremental upgrades with the goal of reducing waste, optimizing efficiency and extending product life.

We suggest four decorative and graphic ceramic surfaces for 2025, developed by the Observatorio de Tendencias del Hábitat.
