Organised by The Tile Association (TTA), the event is the UK’s only professional exhibition focused exclusively on ceramic tiles and related products
The UK is the third largest export market for Spanish ceramics
Spanish ceramics returns this Friday, 5 June, to ExpoTile (formerly The Tiling Show), UK’s leading annual event for the wall and floor tile industry, featuring seven ASCER member companies: Adex, Baldocer, Decocer, Dune Cerámica, Estudio Cerámico, Etile and Peronda Group, showcasing their latest collections and new products for the UK market.
Organised by The Tile Association (TTA), the leading organisation in the UK ceramics sector representing over 1,000 companies and professionals across manufacturing, distribution, marketing, and tile installation, the exhibition is held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham. The event runs alongside the TTA Awards, which recognise business excellence, product innovation and installation quality across the industry.
In addition to showcasing products and innovation, ExpoTile provides a unique networking environment, where exhibitors and visitors can grow their networks, share knowledge and build closer relationships with key decision-makers and specifiers in the UK market, fostering new business opportunities.
The United Kingdom remains a strategic market for the Spanish ceramic tile industry. In the first quarter of 2026, Spanish ceramic tile exports to the UK totalled €47.4 million, an increase of 3.7% compared with the same period last year. As a result, the UK ranks as the third-largest export market for Spanish ceramic tiles, consolidating its role as one of Tile of Spain’s most important international markets. To further strengthen this position, Tile of Spain implements a dedicated promotional strategy that combines participation in trade fairs with communication campaigns, seminars and trade missions targeting the media, distributors and tile installers.
For many years, ASCER has worked closely with The Tile Association (TTA) to promote Spanish ceramic tiles in the UK market through a range of initiatives, including training programmes and annual visits to the ceramic tile cluster in Castellón.
This initiative, aimed at enhancing the position of the Spanish ceramic tile sector in the UK market, is supported by the Regional Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Generalitat Valenciana under the existing framework collaboration agreement.
