Over 50 Tile of Spain companies will be present at Orlando to take part in the main trade show for coverings in the United States
The U.S. is the first destination for the spanish ceramic tile exports, amounting to almost 10% of the sales of this sector

The Coverings fair is the largest  tile and stone exhibition and conference in the U.S.; and this year’s edition will be held April 29th to May 2nd in Orlando, Florida. A total of 55 Tile of Spain companies are jointly taking part in the show at the Official Spanish Pavillion organized by ICEX, which will host 77 Spanish companies in total. This means the companies members of ASCER are the biggest group in the Pavillion once again.

The Spanish Pavillion features a hospitality area that will host a program of diverse activities, including educational talks, a press conference, live podcast recordings and interactive design sessions where the visitors can creat dynamic moodboards with ceramic tiles from the Spanish exhibitors. Global Trends 2025

Tile of Spain will take part in the yearly presentation of global trends organized by Coverings, a walkthrough of the latest trends and new technology and techniques, on four main points: sustainability, timeless luxury, health and wellbeing and outdoors living.

Tile of Spain Press Conference

Tile of Spain will hold a press conference for their 35th participation at Coverings. The press conference will also feature a seminar delivered by technical and specialist consultant for Tile of Spain, Ryan Fasan.

“Beneath the Surface” Podcast

The expert consultant Ryan will hold new recordings of the exclusive podcast by Tile of Spain, diving into key aspects of the Spanish ceramic industry, from technical innovation to design trends and economic factors (To listen to older episodes, click here ).

Showstoppers
Thursday 1 May, 11:30 h & 13:30 h – Several stands in the Spanish Pavillion
A tour around the stands of the exhibitors with questions to the Spanish companies representatives, with the aim of getting to know first hand the industry technological advances and new design trends (to watch the full series, click here).

Interactive mood board
A permanent feature where visitors will be able to create inspirational mood boards with ceramic tiles by Spanish manufacturers exhibiting at the show.

One of the events coordinated by the Coverings trade show organization is the ceremony for the CID AWARDS, accolades that serve as recognition of works for their design and their use of stone or ceramic tiles, anywhere in the world. In the last editions, works that used products with the Tile of Spain mark have always been recognized in the international category. The winners will be announced Wednesday 30th.

Tile of Spain in the U.S.

The U.S. market held in 2024 the first position in the top export destinations for Spanish ceramic tiles, with 470.2 Million € (+3,1%). The U.S. market takes up 13,5% of the total exports from the industry, 9,8% of total sales. During the first two months of 2025 sales have grown at almost 30%. 

Tile of Spain has a specific country plan for the U.S. that encompasses activities such as seminars for distributors, installers and prescriptors; chanelling of commercial demands and samples; trends lookbooks, etc. Moreover, the Promotion Plan for Tile of Spain in U.S.A. has a specific web page hosting news, events and information on the products catered to the U.S. market, as well as a very strong social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. This plan is developed jointly by ASCER and ICEX with the collaboration of the Spanish  Commercial Office in Miami.
