A group of UK distributors visits the industry to get to know first hand the latest developments, innovation and the commitment of the sector with sustainability.
On thursday 19th, at the ASCER offices, a presentation on the UK market will be held by the TTA.
The Chamber of Commerce of Castellon, with the support and co-financing of the FEDER funds and the IVACE+i, and the collaboration of ASCER, a distributors visit to Spain for 15 professionals interested in knowing more about new releases, the manufacturing process, and investments in sustainability in the Spanish ceramic tile sector. The visit started June 17th and will last until June 19th, when there will be a talk on the UK market celebrated at the ASCER offices.
This activity has been jointly developed with the collaboration of The Tile Association (TTA), which represents the ceramic sector in the UK and has a continuous collaboration strategy with ASCER.
The group of professionals will visit several showrooms and production plants of Spanish manufacturing companies for three days, which will allow for them to discover the versatility of the Spanish ceramic tiles as well as the last progresses in terms of sustainability, innovation and design.
Closing the program on the 19th, the TTA will give a presentation at the ASCER offices, introducing a global vision of the UK market,trends and evolution of the construction sector.
This is the fourth edition of this visit of the UK distribution professionals to the industry. The UK market imported €191.8 million of Spanish ceramic tiles in 2024, holding the tird spot in the ranking of Tile of Spain exports.
