Fuori Salone
During the week of April 8-13th 2025, Tile of Spain will again display an installation for Spanish ceramics in the Fuori Salone of Milan, during the most important design week in the world, taking place at the same time as the Salone del Mobile of Milan.
The Light in the Darkness is an installation designed by the Valencian studio Viruta Lab that serves as an artistic homage to the labor of the volunteers in response to the devastating catastrophe that struck Valencia on October 29, 2024.
The space is structured around 18 sculptural totems, composed of overlayering volumes covered with ceramic from different companies in earth tones, evoking the clay and mud that covered the affected communities.
The companies that will take part in the exhibition are: Apavisa, Arcana, Azteca, Cevica, Colorker, Cristacer, Decocer, Dune, El Barco, Gayafores, Natucer, Pamesa, ITT, Tau, Undefasa, Venux, Vives and Wow.
