Tile of Spain installation during Milan Design Week
From 20-30 April 2026, Tile of Spain will once again have an exhibition space for Spanish ceramics at the Fuori Salone in Milan, during the world’s most important design week, taking place at the same time as the Salone del Mobile of Milan.
The installation ‘Spanish Design as a Souvenir’, conceived by the Madrid-based studio CODOO STUDIO, addressed the theme Materiae through a contemporary reflection on Spanish design: can design become a memory?
The proposal takes the form of a contemporary still life at an architectural scale, where eleven ceramic-clad sculptural totems coexist, bringing together icons of Spanish design, Made in Spain products, and shared cultural references.
The companies participating in the installation are: Apavisa, Arcana, Argenta, Cevica, Colorker, Cristacer, Decocer, Dune Ceramics, El Barco, Estudio Cerámico, Gayafores, Harmony, Tau Cerámica, Vidrepur and Vives.
